MIRA: Mid-Illinois REALTORS® Association

Pro Standards

At MIRA, we treat your interests as if they were our own.

All members of the Mid-Illinois REALTORS® Association hold themselves to the National Association of Realtors' strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Our Professional Standards department settles disputes between Realtors, and Realtors and their clients.

MIRA adheres to the policies and procedures set forth in the Illinois Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual provided by Illinois Realtors. The Manual is drafted to be in compliance with the National Association of Realtors and Illinois state law.

MIRA establishes objective, enforceable ethical standards governing the professional conduct of Realtors. We recognize and appreciate Realtors' obligations to their clients, customers, public, and to each other and we continually strive to remain informed in real estate issues.

NAR Code of Ethics

The National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice sets out how Realtors are to operate as professionals engaged in the practice of real estate. Before you file a complaint or request mediation, we suggest taking a moment to review the Code of Ethics to identify which issues you would like to resolve.
